We are incredibly pleased to announce that Patricia Valladolid has officially joined the One San Pedro (and Century Housing) team in the newly created position of Director of Community Development for our One San Pedro efforts.
Patricia joins us with a wealth of experience, having spent the past eight years working with Abode Communities in their housing operations, during her tenue Patricia was successful in culminating a 16-year revitalization project with HACLA. Her experience in service coordination, project management, and community development has been recognized by local officials, and the affordable housing industry. Patricia earned her BA from the University of California, Los Angeles and MPA from California State University, Dominguez Hills. In her graduate work Patricia focused on community development, public policy, and non-profit management.
As a community leader Patricia has served on several volunteer organizations in the Wilmington and surrounding areas, including the position of Vice Chair-Education for the Wilmington Neighborhood Council and founding the mentorship program, Juntas. One of Patricia’s first steps as Director will be to help activate the new office in downtown San Pedro and foster working and beneficial alliances with key stakeholders including: Rancho San Pedro residents, San Pedro residents, nonprofit partners, HACLA, the business community, elected officials, and others.
With her prior involvement in and around the San Pedro, non-profit, business and governmental communities, Patricia brings to One San Pedro unique capabilities to expand both our reach and influence to help further the ambitious vision outlined in our One San Pedro Transformation Plan.
Please join us in welcoming Patricia to the One San Pedro team!
